One Hell of a Month

Unfortunately, it’s been an unpleasant month quite literally from the start. The worst of it is that the collection I had due out from Cemetery Dance in only a couple of months (I literally already had the edits sent back) has been cancelled. This is entirely due to changes in the company’s paperback line rather than any personal/professional beef, but it’s still incredibly disappointing. That said, I’ve been been invited to bring up the book there again at the end of the year if it hasn’t been picked up elsewhere, so there is that.

Meanwhile, The Terror at Miskatonic Falls is now due to drop on February 7th, so there’s at least still something to look forward to.

About prutigli

Patrick resides in Indiana with his wife and a medically challenged cat. He found work there as a stockman, fry cook, cart monkey, and freelance proofreader. Alas, writing is still the only job that suits him. During his off time, Patrick can usually be found attempting to recreate foreign cuisine, performing the solemn duty of feline waterbed and having spirited debates with his wife over the failings of Disney villains. Patrick’s novella "The Last Look" was published by Bleeding Edge Books. One of Patrick’s short story collections, "Wind Chill," is available via Crystal Lake Publishing.

Sorry to hear about cemetery dance! The other book looks interesting from my read of the blurb. Will have to check it out.
