Figuring Out the Details

I’m happy to say that I am now indeed certain all the kinks have been worked out of The Last Look as the book is really feeling right to me (finally). The moral of the story: experimentation is a good thing but don’t expect too much of it (and especially don’t force it). Usually, using the process you know to work is far more effective.

I also looked up Ravenous in hopes of doing a feature on it, but after watching the film… cripes, I really don’t know how I feel about it. It’s odd, to say the least. Fortunately, I do already have another movie lined up that is definitely awesome. I’ll share that one with you on Sunday.

About prutigli

Patrick Rutigliano grew up on a steady diet of comic books and horror movies. Making his first sale to Permuted press in 2007, he has since placed stories with several publications in addition to his first collection, Black Corners of a Blood-Red Room. The Untimely Deaths of Daryl Handy is his first independent release. During his off time, Patrick can usually be found attempting to recreate foreign cuisine, sacrificing cardboard to his cats, and having spirited debates with his wife over the failings of Disney villains.
